The Café Matte Collection brings understated color and contemporary style to the traditional French butter crock. Each stoneware crock features a smooth matte glaze with the word “butter” in raised lettering on one side and the French word “beurre” on the opposite side. Pack softened butter into the bell-shaped lid and add approximately 1/3 cup of cold water to the base to create a protective water seal. The crock holds one stick of butter (1/2 cup or 125 grams) and keeps it soft and spreadable without refrigeration when used as directed.

Eat good food with dinnerware that is made from renewable sources. Although still consisting of melamine, this set has a lower environmental impact than fully-melamine sets. Plus, the 142 oz. bowl can act as a great serving or salad bowl. This dinnerware set is a fantastic economical choice.
