Really love this set of vases now that I finally received both pieces. Unfortunately I received 3 deliveries of the small vase ONLY. I ordered the first one then had Wayfair get involved because the large vase was not included in the delivery. This vase is made in amber-colored interiors with pale blue exteriors. The Interior and exterior are originally shiny glass until the artisans apply a chemical etching to the exterior surface to help create a soft texture giving contrast to the shiny interior. The final design has been hand "pulled" while still molten into the shapes you see here and also "pinched" on the front edge to add special emphasis to the bulging shape where the trip originates.

The Carthage vase is a stunning combination of amber and blue hand-blown glass, that flows together so effortlessly. It brings to mind the blue skies meeting at the horizon with the amber and gold foliage preparing for a seasonal change.
