Keep your butter safe with this domed glass butter dish. Perfect for breakfast tables and fine dining alike!

BEWARE!! I had to purchase this item because I bought the "open box" dish and it arrived broken because they wrapped it loosely and it is fragile. I was told I could only get 25% off towards my order!! Only 25% due to NO FAULT of my own. I am a long time customer and card holder, 1/2 my home is WAYFAIR! After this mishap that will change...I still have another dome running around Fed-Ex that they can't deliver due to "DAMAGE" and customer service can't help me. Just be aware they DON'T give refunds or returns on "OPEN BOX" items!!. Pauline. Denver, CO. Sun Feb 23 2025

La Rochere’s Napoleon Bee embossed covered butter dish is classic in design, elegant and sturdy. The bee was chosen by Napoleon during his coronation as his symbol and was used on fabrics, carpets and flags. The butter dish with its Bee embossed cover is useful and convenient. Steeped in tradition La Rochere is the oldest glass factory in France. The pieces are fired at a very high temperatures producing an exceptional quality glass that is crystal clear, durable, easy to clean and dishwasher safe. A pressure seam is sometimes visible, which is the mark left by the mould in which the glass is pressed. It is the characteristic of pressed machine glass, symbolizing its French heritage.

Silver plated gallery frame with legs and decorative lid, with an oblong patterned glass dish.

It's beautiful, I liked it, but I think it is more suitable for storing butter, on the kitchen counter, to use when cooking. I needed to use butter for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the dinner table. It is deep and it is inconvenient to extract oil with a knife. The metal is thin and the lid does not fit snugly.. Svetlana. Rye, CO. Sat Jan 30 2021

Butter has never looked better than when neatly displayed in this dish with a tidy cover. The rectangular butter dish is designed to hold rectangular shaped butter. The clear cover allows you to see how much butter is left in the holder.

Beautiful piece! To replace my broken vintage butter dish, and after combing antiquethrift stores, this was a fab buy! Heavy cut glass, I use daily.. Adaria. Montana. Sun Feb 18 2024

Silver-plated round frame with legs and revolving lid, complete with small glass dish.

Absolutely beautiful and elegant!. Rhonda. Tue May 07 2024

Keeping butter at room temperature is the difference between spreading and tearing, and this dish makes that easy to do neatly. Glass covers what is underneath while keeping it in view. A wooden base gives it enough length to work with comfortably, and enough looks to stay out on the table.

Wanted a new butter dish that was large enough for at least two sticks (hubby and I like different brands), clear (because I forget there’s butter in them if I can’t see it) and with a handle because most butter dishes have smooth glass tops that are easy to drop. This one seemed to fit the bill but was very expensive and there weren’t any reviews so I held off for a while, but finally caught a sale and happened to have a gift card so figured I’d give it a shot. It is definitely the biggest butter dish I’ve ever seen and would easily hold four sticks, or maybe three of the European shaped blocks. And being so large is a bit heavy, but that’s what the handle is for. I would give this five stars except for the poor workmanship rate it five stars on said handle. I think that an item at this price range should have better quality control. Dimensions are 12 1/2” wide, 5 3/8” deep and 6 3/4” tall. Interior area is 10 1/2” x 3 1/4” x 3 1/2”.. Lorane. Huntsville, TX. Mon May 12 2025

Butter tastes better left out, and a dome is the civilized way to manage that. Glass lets you see what is underneath at a glance. A mango wood base gives the whole thing a warm footing on a table or counter, and it stays out at breakfast while still looking deliberate.

Air tight butter dish that keeps butter very fresh!. Nickie. US. Sat Mar 14 2026
