I love the color--a teal-ish blue--a little darker--that looks terrific with my china. Ordinarily, I wouldn't be attracted to this pattern because, when closely examined, it has a quirky little metal element on the side that signals "industrial." The French Laguiole flatware set is a lovely touch of classic and timeless tableware. It is heavy and substantial in feel but balanced. I choose the earthy green and its a very pretty shade. The only downside for me is the thickness of the actual spoon and fork, its thicker than what I would personally prefer. This is a great set. The acacia cutting board has a nice pattern. The small serving knives are cute. The handles are obvious looking plastic, but they are still attractive. I love the larger serving set with the clever. The knives are in a plank of wood that makes a nice presentation if you’re giving them as a gift. The board was a nice size - big enough to hold three or four cheese options, but small enough to fit in the cabinet. I love the shape of the knives, and the “pearlescent” finish. The quality of the finish was uneven - a couple of the knives have a tarnish or spotting near the rivets. I think this is a good value for the price, and would make a nice set to gift.. Courtney.
