I really like these plates. I thought they were glass when I ordered them but I found that they were plastic when they arrived which is fine because I can let my son use these without worrying about him dropping and breaking them. It also makes them safe to use outdoors such as on the patio or pool. I put these in the dishwasher before I saw that they were 'handwash only' and they held up just fine. No warping. These plates are great. They have the perfect rustic farmhouse feel, but elevated. The brown border is imperfectly painted which give them a nice handmade kind of feel.
