The floral scent is the best representation of the surprisingly unique aesthetic of reactive glaze. This collection is the result of a collaboration between Bordallo Pinheiro and the Brazilian NGO Eco arts Amazônia in the preservation of an environmental, cultural, social, and scientific heritage crucial to mankind's future. Each piece was inspired by the very rich local flora and was only possible thanks to intense knowledge sharing with those who live their daily lives in this vibrant mosaic of ecosystems, traditions, colors, sounds, and smells that is the Amazon rainforest. Part of the collection's proceeds will go to the reforestation of the Amazon area of Mato Grosso, by planting indigenous fruit trees in cities, rural areas, and indigenous villages of the region where Eco arts Amazônia operates.

Relaxed and trendy, the new Flora collection evoques a relaxing stroll in the countryside, in that chosen refuge where we seek the serenity and inspiration that only nature in its purest state can give us. Flora brings together a herbarium of plants and flowers, which small and graceful insects are busy around, paying tribute to the beautiful and delicate balance of ecosystems. Plant diversity, which includes poppies, marigolds, dandelions, wild roses, mallows and hawthorn berries, populates the surface of the pieces in high and low reliefs full of detail, with soft country colors accentuated by the unique transparency of the brand's glazes. A versatile line, Flora allows for countless combinations, giving any table the Bordallian DNA: nature, vivacity, imagination and joy.

The heavy-gauge steel underbody is glazed with hand-painted, color-dragged checks and rimmed in bronzed stainless steel. Each piece reflects the artisan's hand, so no two are exactly alike, although they all work together in perfect harmony.

Exclusive Fleur de Lis is handmade from "gres" a dark, sturdy clay then covered with an elegant white glaze. The oven, dishwasher, and microwave are safe.
