Design. Elegance. Singularity. XY flatware collection has them all! The collection owns its name because the forks have been designed to be particularly appreciated by women and knives particularly appreciated by men. Both utensils together make the perfect pair.

The new art of tasting... Inspired by fusion food, this flatware collection blends a variety of inspirations, playing on the intermingling of shapes. In its silhouette, one can easily imagine the chopsticks becoming a fork, spoon, or knife. Orient meets Occident, just like in fusion food, to celebrate the multicultural art of living.

This is beautiful flatware from France. We thought we might have some trouble adjusting to the European length but it has been a snap. Actually, in very short order we prefer it. The utensils are long and lean (except for that small spoon which is short and lean) and have a good feel and balance to them. Someone somewhere stated that the knife feels a bit hollow and I agree with that. I don’t think this is forged flatware however, it is still substantial enough that it feels elegant and not cheap. On the small spoon, you almost have to try it to believe that you’ll find it to be perfectly fine. I had my doubts but once again, it’s quite comfortable and practical to use in my opinion due to the size of the bowl of the spoon. I’m sure everyone is different but I am far more content with it than I thought I’d be. If you’re wondering why I’d buy flatware about which I had several reservations in the first place, it was mostly because it’s made in France rather than Asia. Not to say there isn’t anything of quality coming out of Asia, but I have long held concerns about metals and how they’re manufactured. I wanted something of French, Italian, or German origin or perhaps something from Scandinavia. Before buying two of these sets I bought two sets that were manufactured in Indonesia and was unhappy with how flimsy they felt. And they were not much less expensive than the DeGrenne. So I returned them and bought two of these sets, happy to have service for 12, and the fork is so nice I don’t miss the salad fork at all.. Dana. Haymarket, VA. Fri Mar 25 2022

I think you folks have no idea how to send someone a wedding gift. First you send me an email and mix up MY address with the address where I wanted the gift to be sent. Then, you package it in a cheap cardboard box marked "coffee filters" and sent it to me. Now I will need to repackage it as a beautiful wedding gift and deliver it myself. This was an order from a wedding registry and I was more than unhappy. I do not want to hear from or receive emails from your company ever again.. Dorene. Sherman Oaks, CA. Fri Jun 10 2022

Really nice satin gold finish that is not too glittery or cheap looking. Nice balance and weight. The smaller spoon is really small and the larger spoon is quite large, but not an issue to me.
