I like this set a lot, BUT it has started to show spots after less than a week of use. Nothing major so far but still annoying. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cambridge Gilda Black Satin 20-Piece Flatware Set Review I recently picked up the Cambridge Gilda Black Satin 20-Piece Flatware Set and have been really impressed with its modern, stylish design. The black satin finish is sleek and elegant, giving my table a contemporary, polished look. I especially appreciate the long, slightly flared handles, which not only look sophisticated but also feel comfortable and well-balanced in hand. The set feels sturdy and substantial, and it pairs beautifully with both casual, everyday meals and more formal table settings. It has quickly become a standout feature on my dining table and elevates the overall presentation of any meal. My only concern is the durability of the black satin finish. Since the color is applied as part of the surface finish, I wonder how it will hold up to regular use, washing, and contact with other utensils. Scratches or wear would be especially noticeable on a dark set like this, so I’ll be keeping an eye on how well the finish lasts over time. Overall, the Cambridge Gilda Black Satin Flatware Set offers a great balance of style and quality. If the black coating proves to be long-lasting and scratch-resistant, I would consider it an excellent combination of elegance and everyday functionality.. Tammiel. Thu Aug 20 2026
