Bordallo Pinheiro Serving Bowls

The Cabbage Collection, one of Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro’s most iconic creations, has celebrated nature at the table for over a century. Inspired by the ornamental cabbages that bloom in soft blush tones, the new Pink Edition brings a fresh, contemporary elegance while staying true to the brand’s naturalist spirit.

Developed in partnership with Nini Andrade Silva, born on the island of Madeira, and one of the most famous interior designers worldwide, this new collection pays tribute to one of the island's icons, the banana tree. Various features, such as its dark wrinkled bark, large verdant leaves, delicate stem, and the banana itself are masterfully transformed into large platters and trays, small bowls and cups, gorgeous centerpieces, and pitchers which recreate a tropical environment.

Through the extensive matching of functional pieces of tableware and accessories in four different colours, this collection honours the world of tiles, which one can take in on so many Portuguese streets.

This collection is the result of a collaboration between Bordallo Pinheiro and the Brazilian NGO Eco arts Amazônia in the preservation of an environmental, cultural, social, and scientific heritage crucial to mankind's future. Each piece was inspired by the very rich local flora and was only possible thanks to intense knowledge sharing with those who live their daily lives in this vibrant mosaic of ecosystems, traditions, colors, sounds, and smells that is the Amazon rainforest. Part of the collection's proceeds will go to the reforestation of the Amazon area of Mato Grosso, by planting indigenous fruit trees in cities, rural areas, and indigenous villages of the region where Eco arts Amazônia operates.

They sent the wrong item and then told me I had to wait to get a refund until I sent the item back which is a 2 week process. Im done with Wayfair. Their return policy and blatant lack of customer relations has burned me one to many times.. Anonymous. Fri Dec 05 2025

As a result of the climatic conditions of southern Europe the lemon has become a symbol of Mediterranean culture. A fruit with a peculiar, elongated shape, it has a rough, vibrant yellow rind that contrasts with a more translucent, crystalline interior of a paler color. Inside, the segments are surrounded by small opaque white membranes, creating a circular pattern characteristic of citrus fruits. The lemon is made up of contrasts: sour and bright, opaque on the outside and crystalline on the inside, vibrant on the outside, pale on the inside, bitter on the palate, but widely used in sweets. All these characteristics have inspired us to develop the Lemon collection. The pieces are made according to Bordallo Pinheiro’s naturalism, with a high level of craftsmanship, both in modelling and painting, but always with a contemporary and up-to-date approach.

Love this salad bowl! Was recently in Lisbon, Portugal and saw the same bowl although slightly larger but this is perfect. The efficiency and speed from Wayfair was exceptional. The only negative is the price. Less expensive purchasing in Portugal but Bordallo Pinheiro stores don’t ship to USA. Nevertheless very satisfied. Two heritage brands, Bordallo Pinheiro and Esporão, have joined forces to create Olival, an unprecedented collection that unites the production of high-quality olive oil with the best traditions of artistic earthenware. Inspired by the symbolic olive tree and the whitewashed houses of the Alentejo landscape, Olival embodies these timeless traditions that require patience and skill. This charming setting, brimming with rustic wisdom and beauty, is reflected in the pieces' white surfaces and textured details, faithfully evoking the whitewashed houses. Hand-painted ceramic reliefs featuring olive branches, textured trunks, and olives in various stages of ripeness adorn the white surfaces. The collection encompasses a plate, jug, salad bowl, dessert plate, cheese plate, and olive oil tasting cup, offering a truly aesthetic and sensory experience that bears the unmistakable stamp of Bordallo Pinheiro and Esporão.
