This is a really beautiful set. After buying 4 place settings and trying them out, I bought 8 more place settings. The finish is beautiful and I love the lip around the edge of the plates. I just received my dishes. The pattern and quality are beautiful as expected however, I am a bit disappointed in the color. I was sent a replacement place setting of bone china. The china arrived in its original packaging with no outside protection or packaging (bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts, etc.).
