I was not expecting a set when this was delivered, but I really love Tovolo products, so I am absolutely okay with this. I like utilizing wood and silicone utensils to help protect our cookware. This is a fantastic spatula! The teal color is fantastic and the one piece construction is exactly what we were looking for- no more icky gunk build up where to spatula meets the handle. We purchased Ela's Silicone Spatula and Ela's Straight Silicone Spatula at the same time and I recommend you do the same. We tried different degree of silicone and finally we choose the one which has just the right amount of firm and flexible. We also upgraded the core. So it is sturdier and core won't come through the spatula. Firm enough for stirring anything especially very thick mixtures. The spoon shaped spatula is very versatile.
