Alessi Serving Utensils

Following the typical minimalist approach that features in all Jasper Morrison's work, this design is an attempt to reduce the "cutlery-object" to its barest essence, its purest and most customary form and what might tentatively be called its definitive form, and deliberately stripped of all stylistic value and - perhaps precisely because of this - recognizable as Morrison's work.

This fork is suppose to be used for spaghetti but I end up reaching for it for other dishes also. I wish it had an extra inch added to the handle so it would be more balanced. It is very top heavy and doesnt balance well on the side of the bowl, so it falls in. We have had it for a few months and no chipping of the plating, it still looks in good condition.. Pablo. Over the years, the Dry model has opened up the road for us and various other cutlery sets, though it has always remained well up among the leaders.

We received Carlo Mazzeri Salad Serving Bowl as a wedding present in 1976. We still use it every week and it looks brand new. We love the timeless style and it is the perfect size for us. Our niece was the first in her generation to get married, we purchased this bowl for her and told her about our receiving it as a wedding present 38 years ago. We also purchased the 'Dressed' Salad set to go with the bowl. We were not aware of the pattern on the back side of the two pieces and weren't sure that we liked it when we received them. However, we think they are a nice match to the bowl.. Gary. Ann Arbor, MI. Tue Sep 23 2014

For Achille Castiglioni objects had to fulfill two essential requirements: they should offer practical solutions to the small problems arising while “being at the table,” possibly with intelligent functional innovation, and they should also satisfy the public’s taste, for example, for the finish of the metal.

In designing this cutlery, we paid great attention to detail, so that each component of the service is easy to hold and pleasant to hold because using the right tools fusion will make the taste of delicious food richer.

A graduate of the école nationale supérieure d’art (Higher National School of Art) in Dijon in 1985, Moretti founds the 18 Août with Fabrice Berrux and Pascal Oriol in 1987. Bruno Moretti has been working on projects in the field of design and interior architecture. A large number of his works concern "tableware": fruit bowls, trays, cutlery, and kitchen utensils, having features in major exhibitions; some of his pieces were entered into the collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris. His meeting with Guy Savoy in 2012, marks the beginning of a new field of experimentation in table design. This relationship, both friendly and professional, leads to the development of several projects that take a different look at our relationship to objects and culinary habits. With Guy Savoy, Bruno Moretti proceeds with designing a set of "table art" products for the chef’s new Paris restaurant at the Hôtel de la Monnaie de Paris, which opened in 2015.

Minimalist in design, the simple flowing lines of her pieces make them ideal for display as works of art, while her use of modern durable materials crystallizes their true functional purpose. Perfect for every kitchen, Kristiina Lassus's rice and vegetable spoon is essential when cooking up a storm. With a nice silver finish, this serving spoon will make serving vegetables easy!
