So far it's a great cutting board. Definitely have to follow the care recommendations for the initial oiling and seasoning for the first week or so. This is pretty if you are looking for a sanitary alternative to a wood cutting board that get a tattered surface from knife marks-- you need to treat wood cutting boards to regular disenfwctant and mineral oil. Not so with glass. This is heavy so you need to be careful to not break it. The surface is finely screened so I am not going to use my expensive knives on this. What do I use it for? So far nothing really. I could make sandwiches on them if a dinner knife is all that is needed, but honestly, I just make sandwiches on plates then serve.
