This pivoting display digital thermometer unites many thermometers "wants" in one handy product. First, the oversized 1" LCD readout displays the temperature boldly and clearly. Not getting the viewing angle desired? The head of the thermometer pivots and adjusts into multiple angles - no bending, twisting, or angling to read the temperature. Other features include an ultra-thin thermometer tip, a handy pocket/storage sleeve, and an F/C conversion switch. Combined with a temperature range that reaches a high 482 degrees Fahrenheit, this thermometer will become one of the most useful tools in the kitchen. Helpful hints: Digital thermometers are not meant to be left in food during cooking. The plastic and electronic components could be damaged by excessive heat. Important: The thermometer will be hot after use. Use potholders or oven mitts when handling hot thermometers.
