• Gianluca Fabbro: Gianluca Fabbro was born in Italy in 1968. Since childhood, Gianluca has always had a passion for painting and creativity. He has worked with ceramics for over 30 years, learning the craft from his father and grandfather. While studying architecture in Venice at the age of 21, Gianluca’s father became ill, and he put his studies on hold to return home and take over the family business. Over the years, Gianluca has grown in his skills and further developed new techniques and patterns with the help of his fellow artisans and employees. As a maestro artisan, he created a unique sponging technique used to hand paint charming and beautiful designs on ceramic and has designed for some of the best retailers and importers throughout the world, including VIETRI. Gianluca loves art, traveling, and his family. He is constantly inspired by the beauty of nature, making the clay surface his canvas with ease and artistic passion.
• Microwave safe: The temperature of VIETRI pieces may vary after microwave use due to the handmade nature of quality, natural clays. Thus, as with all products used in a microwave, please use the following precautions: Always use a pot holder or oven mitt when handling the product as the item may get hot. Do not permit children to handle any product that has been heated in a microwave. Do not put any products into a microwave without food or liquid on or inside the piece. Allow the item to cool before taking it out of the microwave.
• Dishwasher safe: We recommend using a non-fragrant/non-citrus, non-abrasive detergent on the air dry cycle (or Econo heat when available). It is recommended to place the dishes so they avoid touching during the high-pressure dishwashing and as such, we recommend you do not overload the dishwasher. All dishes should be dried thoroughly before being stored.
