The Old St. Nick Bambini Set is three pieces, one story: a plate, a mug and a bowl that hand a child a proper place at the Christmas table. Maestro artisan Alessandro Taddei hand paints Old St. Nick onto each one, catching Babbo Natale mid-indulgence over a plate of Christmas cookies, and the Terra Bianca beneath the brushwork is the white earthenware clay Tuscan workshops favor because it lets painted color come forward. Since every piece is painted by hand in Italy, no two sets come out quite the same. This hand painted Italian children's dinnerware set is dishwasher and microwave safe, which is what a set used by small hands actually needs, and it earns its keep at breakfast on Christmas morning as readily as at the holiday dinner itself.
