The Tovolo Flex-Core Small Deep Spoon All Silicone fills the gap between a tasting spoon and a full-size serving spoon. At about 10.5 inches long, its deep bowl holds more per scoop than a shallow spoon, so sauces, rice, and side dishes portion out cleanly without spilling. Rounded edges glide along pot bottoms and reach into the corners of small saucepans where ingredients collect. A reinforced Flex-Core nylon core keeps the head rigid for stirring and mixing, while the silicone surface stays soft against cookware. The BPA-free silicone is heat safe to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and will not scratch nonstick, ceramic, or cast iron. It resists stains from tomato sauce and turmeric, and it goes straight into the dishwasher after use. The ergonomically shaped handle stays comfortable through long stirring sessions.
