Slow-roast a pork loin, braise a pot roast, bake a deep casserole or slow-cook chili, the Swiss Diamond Nonstick Roaster is a versatile piece of bakeware that cleans up in a snap. With a 5-liter, 5.3 qt capacity and a cooking depth of 11 cm (4"), this roaster can comfortably handle a 6-8 lb. roast. Sear your roast on the stovetop to lock in flavor and then transfer directly to the oven as everything is oven-safe to 260°C (500°F). When you are done roasting, take the pan back to the stovetop to make your gravy. The patented Swiss Diamond nonstick coating browns food for a savory exterior, creating the rich pan drippings needed for flavorful sauces. Thick, cast aluminum construction prevents burning on the bottom and transfers heat evenly around the entire piece of meat. To braise, use the included heat-tempered glass lid with an adjustable steam vent for advanced moisture control.
