In 1987, the late Lilian Disney generously gifted the city of Los Angeles with a top-notch performance venue that would pay tribute to Walt Disney’s loyalty to the arts. Well-known architect Frank Gehry was selected to design the complex, which would go on to become one of the most stylish concert halls in the world.
