Ruffled Salad Server

The Japanese aesthetic philosophy of wabi-sabi says that in imperfections there is simple beauty, in randomness there is order. These long-handle two-tone salad servers are the latest addition to our New Japonesque collection, perfect to pair with our large ruffled bowls. Skilled craftsmen hand apply an oyster color enamel on the silver metal surface, giving it the fragile and delicate beauty of porcelain but it will never break. Each of our creations is designed in our San Francisco studio. Master craftsmen using the centuries-old technique of sand casting create the original mold and skilled artisans hand create every piece, with pride, in our family-owned foundry.
