A cylindrical carafe with stepped, solid base and hand-cut decoration, mouth-blown and handmade by master glassblowers. Inspired by the distant horizon line, the linear decoration is carved into the center of the cylindrical body by hand. Hand-cut and polished bands accentuate the architectural silhouette of this mouth-blown carafe. A long neck and disc-shaped base complete the modernist aesthetic. For serving wine or water. The Horizon carafe is mouth-blown by master glassblowers into a metal mold to create the architectural silhouette. The rim of the carafe is cut and polished to achieve a flat, smooth edge. The open circular-cut decoration is achieved by hand using a diamond wheel, requiring great expertise to produce the straight, flat polished cut.
