A cylindrical decanter with stepped, solid base and hand-cut decoration, mouth-blown and handmade by master glassblowers. Inspired by the distant horizon line, the linear decoration is carved into the center of the cylindrical body by hand. Hand-cut and polished bands accentuate the architectural silhouette of this mouth-blown decanter. The stopper is ground by hand. A solid, disc-shaped base completes the modernist aesthetic. The Horizon decanter is mouth-blown by master glassblowers into metal molds to create the architectural silhouette. The stopper is ground for a perfect fit. The rim of the decanter is cut and polished to achieve a flat, smooth edge. The open circular cut is achieved by hand using a diamond wheel, requiring great expertise to produce the straight, flat polished cut.
