All our stoneware collections are manufactured in Portugal using a single firing system at high temperatures (1180 Celcius degrees/2160 Fahrenheit degrees). This original formula creates a unique ceramic body that is very resistant to both thermal and mechanical shocks. All stoneware products can be safely used in the oven, microwave, and freezer. As a precaution, you should avoid placing the pieces straight from the oven on a cold surface. Please do not use it over a direct flame. They are food-safe—matte glaze, stackable, stain-resistant, and chip-resistant.
