So far it's a great cutting board. Definitely have to follow the care recommendations for the initial oiling and seasoning for the first week or so. It’s a great medium large size with deep grooves. It’s heavy enough to not slide around but light enough that washing it isn’t too cumbersome. The coloring is a bit splotchy and some areas (the corners of the grooves) could be sanded better. But overall it appears very functional and easy to live with. I purchased this Howard End Grain one as it was on sale and just in case I need a new board in the future. It comes very well packed as you can see in the photos. I have two sizes of cutting boards 17x13 and 15x20 and they are on different sides of my kitchen counters and I do everything on them. It is much better than the plastic cutting board as you can see the plastic coming off the board as you cut your vegetables, meat or chicken on it.
