Imagine the Valencia Boutique sofa as the backdrop to your best evenings: long conversations, quiet reading, Sunday mornings that stretch a little longer than planned. Rich top grain leather invites you in, and every detail says this piece was made to be lived in, not just looked at.
What makes this leather special?
You're getting 100% top grain leather on every surface of this sofa, no splits, no bonded leather, just the real thing throughout. The semi-aniline finish is intentionally light-touch, preserving the leather's natural softness while a subtle wax layer builds character over time. We use only the best available cuts, which shows in how even and supple the hide feels.
How is this piece constructed?
Handcrafted in Mexico from the frame up, this sofa is made to order, so the leather cutting process begins the day you order, not before. A solid, hand-crafted wood frame provides the backbone, while expert joinery and a webbing support system ensure lasting structural integrity through years of use.
What makes the cushions comfortable and supportive?
Comfort here is layered: the back cushions blend foam and feather for a plush, sink-in feel, while the seat cushions combine pocket coils, foam, and feather for the kind of support that holds up over years of use. Beneath the seat cushions, a sinuous coil system adds resilience, so the sofa keeps its shape and comfort well past the first season.
How should I care for it, and how will it age?
A soft, dry cloth and the occasional dusting are really all this sofa needs. Left to its own devices, the leather will slowly develop a rich patina, evidence of a life well-lived rather than a flaw. Built the way it is, this is a piece meant to age gracefully and last for years to come.
