Measure the inside width of your cabinet from one side to the other. If your cabinet has a frame, measure the opening as well, since it may be narrower than the inside.
Measure from the back of the cabinet to the front opening. Be sure to note any pipes or other obstructions that reduce the usable space.
Measure from the bottom of the cabinet to the top. This helps ensure there's enough room for your storage solution and the items you'll store.
