They don't describe the color in the description and when I zoomed in I thought they looked more burnished bronze. In person they are definitely copper like a penny. We love the new headboard for our guest room! Easy to install (had two people for maneuvering). The brackets we had were not the best bc unable to line up with the top holes of the headboard, but we made it work and it appears to be supportive enough. Headboard was well packaged with no damage.
