This bed is great for the price! Bought two twin beds for our young grandchildren. The wood looks really nice and assembly was easy with clear instructions. It took a couple of hours to assemble. A few of the holes where the screws went in was not complely drilled out so had to press hard to get the screw in. I used an impact drill for all the screws to go into the slats. Only concern are the slats where the mattress sits on. It is made of soft wood and easy to bend. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill.
