On both sides of the chair there are two buttons that tightlock the chosen chair position, so it stays secure. Not bad at all. My daughter has 2 reclining chairs similar to this one and there are positive differences between both. I like that this chair is wider and has a little table/cup holder attachment for it. There was no assembling required. The frame of the chair seems solid, but I am skeptical about the seat itself. I love the cup holders and the foot padding, but wait the icing on the cake was the eye mask and ear plugs….genius idea!
