First, the Good the chair looks great and is a fantastic option for a small room. The bottom cushion is soft and supports me at a 200 pounds. I love the fold out side table on the right. The mechanism is solid and very stable. It’s easy to put together, and is solidly built. The not so good it’s small. It does not sit that high off the ground so make sure you look at the measurements before purchasing. I am 6’2” and my knees bend up as the seat is lower than a traditional chair. Also, I’ve tried my best to love it as it does look good in the space, but it’s just not a comfortable chair. The back does not have a lot of padding and is very stiff. The armrest are more narrow than my wrist so you can’t put anything on it. I think if this is a chair to put in a small space, and will not be used often, then this is a perfect buy. These chairs are very high quality and sturdy. It’s difficult to find office chairs that the seat height is at least 20” and these fit the bill. There is a slight degree difference in the pitch of the seat front and slightly lower at the rear which is perfect for comfort, posture and keeping the seat at my preferred height. The only complaint are the directions for putting together the round base - there is a correct side - make sure you insert the hydraulic mechanism first to figure out the top and bottom before installing the wood covers. It’s a great chair, and a good bargain. I’m tall, and that’s why I ordered a wingback style chair, but I was pleased that the seat height also tall. So much of MCMdanish style Furniture is so low, this was refreshing. The wood is thick, and the build quality is good… I will probably put a little walnut stain on mine to make it match other pieces that I have in the room. Because it’s kind of a “gray“ almost. But it is thick and quality. Same with the upholstery. It’s supple, although the cushion below it is firm. However, it should break in, eventually. Ottoman‘s always look brand new because there’s no weight on them, so I sit and play guitar on the Ottoman quite a bit.
