The greenhouse is so sweet looking . It was delivered a day early. There is a lot of pieces but we laid everything out and it was all there. I am 60 and my husband is 65 and we put this up in 2 1/2 days because it was a rainy week. We had no extra help but I would recommend 3 people cause my husband is very good with building . My wife has been wanting a greenhouse for awhile now. I ordered the 9.5 x 14 foot one for the backyard. Delivery was fast and it comes in three big boxes. One box came on one day and the other two came the following day. Assembly is easier if you lay out all the parts. One of the boxes has all of the plastic sheeting for the walls and ceiling. The other two contain all the metal parts for the base, frame and hardware. Tools are included for assembly, but I highly recommend a power drilldriver to speed up assembly. Assemble was time consuming, but not not super complex if you follow the directions and don’t try to rush it. There are some parts of the assembly that does require two people. My son helped with constructing the base and the wall and ceiling frames. The rest I did alone over a three day period for 2-3 hours a day. The greenhouse is massive and has plenty of room. I researched the greenhouses available online for a long time and felt the quality of reviews for this product and the price point were the best. I was right. When we received the shipment it felt a bit overwhelming but taking it step by step was the key. The 3D Bilt App was great. The instructions were written really well. It was impressive. The key was to seal the wood and take inventory first. Then organize by part number. My mom and I built the majority of it but needed help lifting some of the roof parts. The estimate of 2 days with 2 people is ridiculous. It took a week just to stain and organize everything. If you work during the week expect to spend 3-4 long weekends to get the project done. Nice greenhouse. Sturdier than I expected. Directions aren’t the greatest but we got it together. I had an issue with a missing part and Wayfair’s customer service was phenomenal. Came in 3 boxes. 2 pieces damaged. Does not appear to be cedar - no scent at all, one piece had sap on it. Panels are packaged well, appear to be good quality. I have not yet assembled it as it will need to be stained/finished to protect from weather and insects. Cedar does not need to be stained and has a natural insect repellant. We’re really happy with this greenhouse overall. The size is perfect—not too overwhelming, but still big enough to actually do something with. It feels like a great starter option if you’re getting into gardening without wanting to go all-in on something massive or super expensive. Assembly was definitely the biggest challenge. My husband put it together on his own (which… respect), but he said having a second person would make a huge difference—and honestly, even a third if you want it done quickly. That said, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and all the parts were really well organized in the boxes, which helped a lot. Most of the hiccups were just from doing it solo. The only minor issue we’ve noticed is the door—it was pretty snug at first. We think one of the wood pieces may have been slightly bowed, but it’s already starting to loosen up and work better the more we use it. We love the look of it, and it feels like a solid setup for the price. It also didn’t feel overwhelming to prep the base (we did gravel), which was a big plus. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this for a first greenhouse—especially if you’ve got the space and want to start a larger garden without overcomplicating things.
