We ordere this Deck Box because we needed a place to store our solar pool cover when not in use. We love that this box can be opened from the top, and also opened in the front. It gives us a nice large space to get this large cover into the box. Assembly of the box was pretty straight forward and the directions were easy to follow. I was able to assemble it by myself other than adding the lid. I needed a second person to hold it in place and apply pressure from behind so the screws would catch. We do not plan to place a lock on this box, but if you need one that can be locked, be sure to pay attention to the latch. This 260 gallon water resistant resin lockable deck box is HUGE! In a good way! It would be an excellent option for storing patio cushions during rain and snow since it is water resistant. Although we considered that option, we are going to use it for product deliveries to our home to help packages from getting wet and destroyed and or stolen. We will have the lock open and ask the delivery driver to lock it when they leave. It is very durable and was easy to put together. The only problem that I feel could have some attention to are the directions. They are very confusing and not very user friendly. I probably could have put it together a lot quicker without looking at the directions. Besides that, the functionality and integrity of the deck box is truly a five-star. I’m very happy with this shed overall. It’s very well made, feels sturdy, and was a great addition to my outdoor patio. The modern design looks much nicer than most storage sheds, and the interior is surprisingly spacious. It easily holds all of my patio equipment and outdoor supplies while keeping everything organized. The only downside I found is that the roof leaked a little where the back roof panels meet the side walls. It was a minor issue, but I sealed the inside with expanding spray foam and applied exterior caulk along the outside seam. Since doing that, it’s been completely waterproof and has held up well against the elements. Which is why I have it 4stars instead of 5. Other than that small issue, I highly recommend this shed. The quality is as expected for the price and the instruction are easy to follow. The shed needs to be on level ground or shimmed up so the doors swing freely, but that is as expected. However, and this is a big however, each piece comes with a protective poly wrap that is a cheap film, that is tedious to remove. It took my wife and I, 8- hours to remove the film and it left residue on the final product. I would have paid more money to have better quality protection, that could be easily removed.
