This glass mushroom table lamp is really pretty. I love the design, sturdiness, and beauty of the lamp. However, I was really disappointed to find that there were two stickers inside the lamp near the bottom on the glass. They needed to be removed because light did not pass through them. These turned out very nice. I like the fact that the base is separate from the actual vase -each of them had a small chip. But Ive done this routine before and this is the kind of item that just have to expect imperfections. So turned it a bit and nobody sees it. Very happy with it. I LOVE this lamp! It is beautiful and unique, and adds a soft, warm glow in the room. It is exactly as I hoped it would be when I saw it in the catalogue. I wonderd whether a 40 watt bulb would give out enough light but it is just perfect for ambience, In fact, I used the dimmer to soften the light a bit more. The only caution I would have is that you can see the bare bulb when you are standing up and looking directly down on the lamp, Therefore, I don't have it on an end table that is chair height (the glare would bother me).
