After moving into our new home, we quickly discovered just how hard the water was. It was such a noticeable difference that we were actually driving back to our previous house just to shower while we researched a solution. Installing this water softener completely changed that. We've now been using it for well over a year, and I honestly can't imagine living without it. Our water feels much softer, soap lathers better, and our skin and hair no longer feel dry after showering. We've also noticed fewer hard water spots on our fixtures and dishes, and it's reassuring to know our plumbing and appliances are better protected from mineral buildup over time. The system has been dependable, easy to maintain, and has required very little attention beyond keeping the salt topped off. Once it's set up, it simply does its job in the background. If you live in an area with hard water, I highly recommend investing in a quality water softener. It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor!
