This is the sharpest knife I've ever owned. A beautiful, balanced knife!. Granis. Flushing, NY. Sun Nov 30 2025

The utility knife is smaller than a chef's knife but larger than a paring knife, making it the perfect knife for a magnitude of tasks. A utility knife is much like a versatile paring knife and is perfect for mincing shallots, onions, and herbs as well as cutting vegetables or small meats.

BREAD KNIFE – 8" Bread Knife slices through bread or baguettes with minimal crumbs. The serrations along the edge help guide the blade through tough crust without compressing the soft inside

Twin Signature knives are precision stamped from a single piece of German steel, resulting in lighter weight knives that do not compromise sharpness. The knives are made of proprietary special formula steel that has been perfected for over 280 years. Combined with Zwilling's signature ice-hardening technique, these Friodur blades are harder, sharper, they will not stain or chip and they retain their sharpness longer. To ensure an ideal cutting angle, the laser-controlled edge is incredibly sharp and is honed and hand-finished by the most skilled artisans. The three-rivet handle embedded with the Zwilling J.A. Henckels logo provides optimum durability.

Give to my daughter who loves to bake bread it's her favorite knife doesn't crush the bread it's so nice and sharp very enjoyable if you look into making fresh bread. Irene. Rocky Hill, CT. Sun Oct 16 2022

Miyabi celebrates Japanese craftsmanship with Artisan. Using traditional methods and innovative techniques, these knives merge the past and present into an exceptional knife collection. The potent core of SG2 micro-carbide powder steel is layered in a Tsuchime finish. This exquisite, hand-hammered effect helps prevent food from sticking. Each knife features a hand-honed blade finished with a true katana edge, a homage to the samurai swords made in Seki centuries ago. Fabricated with special Cocobolo Rosewood Pakkawood, the handles mirror the beauty of the blade. Sophisticated details include brass and red spacers, a mosaic pin, and a stainless steel end cap. The attractive D-shaped handle is designed to nestle comfortably in your hand for tireless cutting. Handcrafted in Seki, Japan.

This is the most beautiful line of knives. Very sharp. very pleased with this purchase. Carolyn. Alexandria, VA. Wed Feb 15 2017

A classic amongst the range of knives that belong in every kitchen, as well as bread, this knife is suitable for use on hard-skinned vegetables and fruit, as well as for roasts, especially those with crackling. The concave (inwardly curved), serrated edge of the knife works like the teeth of a saw, but is much finer, so no pressure is required to cut any sort of bread, and even a hard crust will allow a clean cut.

Great knives. Staring usingvthem 12 years ago. Have added to the collection. I didn't realize how important qualify knives are for preparing food until I got my first one. What difference, makes food preparing so smooth. Don't know what you're missing.. John A.. Fri Sep 04 2026

CLASSIC IKON knives feature a distinctive, double bolster design for professional-style heft, exceptional balance and beauty. The handle is made of a highly durable synthetic material – Polyoxymethylene (POM) – which has a tighter molecular structure to resist fading and discoloration. The elegant shape of the handle is designed for a comfortable grip.

Best knives ever. So sharp and bread cuts like butter. Feels so good in your hand. I love it!. Barbara L.. Thu Oct 15 2026

WÜSTHOF's precise, double-serrated edge makes a clear difference with this bread knife: in contrast with a single-serrated edge, this knife has serrations within the serrations, meaning that it remains sharp for longer, requires less pressure and is suitable for very precise, smooth cuts. Bread with a hard crust is not crushed when sliced with this double-serrated blade, while bread with a soft crust is also sliced cleanly, without any tearing of the delicate surface. The Tasty Sumac handles have a depth and range, perfect for unwinding in your kitchen after a long day. Soulful and bold, showcase this beautiful knife by putting it front and center during food preparation.

Perfect bread knife and I am hard to please for bread knives.. Kimball T.. Sun Oct 18 2026

Wüsthof is the first knife manufacturer to offer black, fully forged, DLC-coated knives. The diamond-like carbon coating was developed to withstand the toughest conditions: The amorphous carbon layer, just a few micrometers thick, increases the surface hardness of our Wüsthof blades from 58 to a unique 104 Rockwell. This makes them resistant to acids, alkalis, extreme temperatures, and general wear and tear – even scratches don't stand a chance. The dynamics of our sharp knives are complemented by the slip-resistant hexagon power grip. Chefs love these outstanding knives that sit perfectly in the hand and guarantee complete control, even under the most demanding working conditions. As a family business now in the seventh generation, Wüsthof has been producing knives in Solingen – known as a ‘City of Blades’ – since 1814. Excellent quality, sustainable operations, and innovative ideas guarantee that our production process is among the most advanced of its kind. Our traditional family company is one of the world’s premium manufacturers of high-quality knives. We are expert producers of knives for cooking, such as chef’s knives, specialist knives, paring knives, all-purpose knives, and additional kitchen accessories and/or kitchen aids such as scissors to useful knife blocks, and many more items to do with sharp knife blades. From knife skills workshops on the optimal use of cook’s knives, peeling knives, or bread knives, the high-quality knife sharpener or sharpening steel, the blade-protecting cutting board, or the practical knife set – you will always find a great gift idea in our Wüsthof range.
