The bottom legs are designed to push into the ground, providing excellent wind resistance without requiring concrete.

Love it! Shipped fast. Arrived intact Easy to put together... though it probably helped that there were two of us. Is going to work beautifully for our design plan... were going to plant flanking bougainvilleas to grow up the arch. Then a canary island date palm in the back of the pad. This is our meditative swing lot for relaxing, reading, or practicing pranayama! I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND!. Melinda. NV. Fri Sep 18 2026

Very easy to assemble. You will need a helper to attach the arch to the posts. Only one minor issue. Where the bottom hinge attaches to the rail, two adjacent screws conflicted with one another. Remedied by using one shorter screw. Absolutely love this gated arbor and highly recommend it.. Roland. Honesdale, PA. Sun Sep 13 2026

This versatile gate gives you a stand-alone option for any space: Mark an entrance, frame an area between landscaping, or highlight a special space. A working gate has a latch closure. The metal gate frame is finished in black, and the tree design is burnished bronze.

Beautiful gate! I’m still installing it. It’s missing a screw for the latch, so that’s a trip to the hardware store. The posts in the ground are very short so I will need to pour cement for it to be stable. Good price for a Plow and Hearth product. FYI-Their items usually need protective coats against rust.. I've been looking for a garden arch with a gate for a couple of years, this one has everything we needed: A place for roses and clematis to climb and a gate. It's sturdy and the design is simple. We're buying another one for the other side of the house. Anonymous. Thu Mar 20 2025

Our gate is fully forged, which is thicker and heavier than most iron gates on the market. This garden gate is fully submerged in galvanizing compound and then powder coated to be rust free and last for generations even in the dampest environment. This gate also comes with a bolt hinge for quick lock and mounting posts for easy installation. This gate is a great combination of strength and affordable price!

It is really pretty. Wasn’t hard to assemble. Unfortunately the latch situation others have described in their reviews are true. The latch must have been put on backwards because the gate will NOT stay shut. Any little breeze will open it. I’ll have to figure out a latch that will match it and actually keep it closed. It’s also not very stable so I put small square blocks inside each post to keep it in place. I like it but am disappointed.. Loui. NV. Mon Mar 25 2024

I really love the appearance of this gate. However, it is not as stable as I expected it to be. It is very lightweight and requires much anchoring in order to stand without falling over. I am happy with my purchase overall. I would have given 5 stars if the gate was either built more sturdy or priced for less.. Lisa. US. Thu Aug 25 2022
