Putting it together was simple to understand but not all of the pieces were aligned and it took some work. This could have been due to unevenness of the ground? Smaller than what I was expecting, even with reviewing dimensions. Overall I am happy with my purchase. We will be staking this down to ensure it does not blow over in a heavy storm and plan on removing 1 side of slates to plant a climbing rose in ground (they are not removable. Instructions are easy to understand and all parts were received with quick shipping. It comes flat packed as panels, and I wish the arched angle at the top came pre-assembled. Without it, it can be difficult to get the gate doors even (see photo). It’s also very light, so I reinforced mine by driving rebar into the ground and drilling holes out in the feet and positioning the arbor over it. Without doing that, the arbor wants to swing when the gate is open. Now it’s solid. You will definitely want to reinforce it if you plan to grow anything on it. This is a Beautiful garden entrance arbor. I am in the process of putting it together so the picture doesn’t show the finished gate. It arrived with some broken pieces so I knocked off a star for broken pieces. It’s soft wood and I’m not sure how long it will last in the Texas elements but it’s very pretty and the color matches my fence. It’s a little wobbly so I’m going to dig it into the ground for it to be more sturdy. I’m using it to create a divide from my ugly side yard and I’ll be planting grapes over the arbor and I think it will look very pretty. This thing is awesome. Very lightweight but study and looks incredible. Has nice red cedar color and is perfect for the outdoor seasons.
