I was replacing a piece that had been in the same spot for 25 years, so finding something that actually fit the space (and had a timeless design) was my top priority. This one checks all the boxes. It’s classic enough to last for years, while still allowing flexibility to update the styling with accessories over time. I also love the two-tier design. It works well styled minimally, but gives the option to add more on the bottom shelf if you want a fuller look. Assembly was quick and easy, about 10 minutes to unbox and another 10 minutes to put together. My only small complaint is that the bumper pads under the glass are visible and come in a light/translucent color. Black would have blended better. I’ll likely swap them out, but it’s a minor detail. I'm extremely pleased with this console table! I bought it along with the rug and lamp to spruce up our entryway. The table is sturdy, solid, and was easy to put together. The color of the stain on the wood is very pretty. This piece was delivered to my house during a total downpour when I wasn't home. It was not left on my porch, so I worried that I would have a water damaged piece of furniture to send back. But I'm happy to say that I lucked out - this was packaged in a very thick cardboard box along with styrofoam. The water didn't even penetrate through the cardboard. Phew!. Claire. Olathe, KS.
