I like this and I am small enough fit through the gate, but my elderly father has trouble with it and his caregiver has trouble fitting through it and opening and closing it. My dog is 15 pounds and can’t get out of it, so that is the best part. Perhaps my Dad’s caregiver will figure out how to open and close it. So, we had a bit of trouble in the beginning but Wayfair made it right. The first gate was dented pretty badly, we returned it received the second one which was missing the screws needed to put the footers on. This gate is made out of super steel which normally would be great but there's no pre drilled holes for the hinges and latch and its nearly impossible to make a dent in the gate. So I cant attach it to the matching FE26 hinges nor the latch. 0 stars. For the price i paid I wanted something easy to put together that actually works. Auto-close feature It closes on its own perfectly, which is a massive lifesaver when youre busy or rushing through. Fantastic value It feels incredibly solid and well-made, especially given the price point. For comparison, our other gate (which weve had for a long time and still use for our puppy elsewhere) was easily 2 to 3 times more expensive than this one, yet it doesnt even have an auto-close feature.
