Beautiful basket and well made. It's not flimsy and won't topple over like some fabric based baskets you see - it is rougher to the touch. I used this as an accent piece on my entryway table and placed a pillow in it for color and texture. You could fit a small blanket in it as well, but not really big enough for significant storage..
