It took 43 minutes to assemble. Its lightweight but sturdy. It looks like solid wood and very good quality. I appreciate how they packaged the hardware needed. You will need a screwdriver. The only downside for me was the last step of screwing in part number 8 would be easier if you apply it before putting on the top shelf. Also it would have been superb if the screws were black and not silver or those sticky tabs were sent with it to cover them. Would definitely purchase again if need be!. Andrea. Chelsea, MA. Very nice piece as described! However I would have preferred it to be a little higher and more space between shelves so you can actually use the space better. The instructions were pretty easy but there are a lot of screws and that little screwdriver that they provided wasn’t the best tool to use. My palms were hurting me days later also the Nickel-Plated Joint Connector Nuts were very cheap and I had a hard time locking them up. Every move another one fell . Hadar. Springfield, NJ.
