A slightly different take on the willow edging commonly used in European gardens, this woven willow hurdle border is created from willow that has been debarked and undergone a carbonization process. This results in a light-colored willow border. Use them outdoors to define garden areas, walkways and more. They are held up with sturdy legs that can be pushed easily into the ground. 8 inches of woven area and 6 inches of legs. Due to the natural material and the carbonization process, color WILL vary. Color can range from nearly white to golden brown. Install by pushing the attached stakes into the ground. You can attach multiple pieces together using zip ties or galvanized wire. If you would like additional support, you can utilize garden stakes, and affix the panels to those again using zip ties or galvanized wire.

These panels were the perfect edging for my English garden inspired landscape project around my dahlia beds. For installation, I would recommend getting a long drill bit just slightly skinnier than the legs on these panels and pre-drilling holes into the ground and then using a rubber mallet to tap them into place. Pros= Absolutely stunning!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Perfect for what I was looking for. A little bit of a barrier from our neighbors not so fishbowl vibe when sitting outside without obstructing the view of the lake or a harsh fence (unable to do so with HOA rules). It is so beautiful It has elevated my patio. I just bought more to add to my other side that doesn't even need a barrier just to add the beautiful look of these. Cons=Yes they come with a stand. However, in order for these to be left up outside and not have any fears of hurting anyone (they are heavy) they do need placement of additional support. If your placing under a covered patio should be just fine with sandbags/planters etc for added weight, however, we had ours freestanding out in the element there was absolutely no way my hubby was ok with that solution. We added the wood frame, (which honestly I think made these go from nice to breathtaking) attached it to one side of the house, and secured it to a cement bench we had, to the other side, that baby is not going anywhere. Beautiful panels, they make a super stylish setup. I purchased 6 of them for my deck, they arrived w/o scratches or hits on 2 per box arrangement, very well packaged. Now, these panels are made of some sort of wood, it is hard but easy to drill on, I used a 1/8th countersink bit with a tapper and fixed them to the side of my deck using #8 x 1 1/2" construction screws. They are about 3/8" thick, so I added a 0.665 x 1" vinyl strip behind it, to make it flush with the siding of the decking material which is 1". I also added some black landscape fabric behind to give the depth of the openings on the design and prevent bugs from entering. The result is a very unique deck which we love. Instructions say that the wood will age to gray naturally, I like it dark brown as it is, so I'll be adding some matte clear coat to prevent the aging process. Edgings are made from tightly woven willow canes or saplings with intricate lattice designs and are environmentally sustainable. They are held up by sturdy legs that push easily into the ground. Optional pressure-treated wood sticks may be required to support the panels depending on the ground's condition. To improve the durability of the natural willow product, you may apply a coat of linseed oil as yearly maintenance. This product is 16" H. It consists of 8" H of woven area and 8" H of legs. You will only see 8" of fencing, due to the legs being put in the ground.
