We bought this daybed so we could comfortable sleep over after mom’s hip replacement. We used California king down-alternative bed pad and the bed is super comfortable. This arrived quickly. Instructions were easy to follow. Says two people to assemble, would have been faster with two, but I did it alone with some well positioned leaning supports to add bottom rails to sides. We ordered this day bed and we love it. We have dogs that like to get on our sofa and this one is a much better option. It is lower to the ground so keep that in mind if you’re buying it instead of a sofa. I also noticed many people in the reviews saying that the pillows provided won’t fit in the covers. I opened the pillow stuffing folded it in half and put it in the pillow covers and they seem to work perfectly (see picture of small gray pillows). I do think that the daybed needs more pillows so I added some green ones for a pop-up color that matches the other patio decor. I really love this, it’s perfect for our needs. I would’ve given them a five star instead of four but I agree with other reviews that it is difficult because some of the fasteners don’t lineup with the pre-imbedded fasteners. For those reading these reviews, I’m starting to question the intelligence of those that are saying it took 3 people and was a pain, etc. I put this bed together by myself and it took me about 1.5-2 hours! I think some folks just can’t follow directions or read It would have been easier with help as I had to be pretty flexible to hold the spindles while securing the pieces but I was too impatient to wait on my husband. I love how it looks and it seems sturdy! Impressed with the quality with how affordable it is! Spectacular daybed! I bought this daybed to go at the foot of my bed like a massive bench. It did not disappoint! Assembled was straight forward. Just attach the legs if want it to sit up about an inch higher. Then slide the armrests in the corresponding metal grooves on both sides and you're done!
