Placed these on my mantel to fill up the huge amount of white space above. Took a long time to get used to something so large and dark but I'm very happy with the look now. My only complaint is that they are a little thick so they take up a lot of space on the mantel. If I wasn't very short and very lazy, I'd hang them instead of propping them up, but I do like to change out he art seasonally and like I said, I'm lazy. This rug looks nicer from afar. The good: This rug is really soft and the delivery was really fast. The bad: A looooot of color bleeding and a print that isn't sharp. As soon as I saw this piece, I was instantly obsessed and knew I wanted to decorate my babys nursery around this as the focal point. It was honestly the piece that inspired our theme and brought everything together. It has a charming almost enchanted feel but the woodland creatures make it still fitting for a little boys room. And I love that! The colors are deep yet still whimsical. I have all three hanging above his crib, and the size is perfect for that! I went with the black border because I didnt want one of the lighter color options to take away or distract from the piece itself. And Im glad I did.
