Wooden Prie Dieu Prayer Bench

Crafted from premium particle board with a smooth finish, this prayer kneeler boasts sturdiness and durability that complements any home or church decor. It features a central open drawer for neatly storing Bibles, rosaries and other devotional items, keeping all essentials within easy reach during prayer. The 1.6'' thick cushion with sponge filling and leather texture cover offers excellent knee support and comfort, effectively reducing strain from long prayers, while the angled tabletop lets you rest hands or hold a Bible comfortably to maintain proper posture and ease shoulder fatigue. Coming with all hardware and instructions in one box for quick assembly, it has a compact 23"W x 20"D x 35"H size that fits most spaces, making it ideal for use at home, in churches or at weddings.

Easy to put together, very sturdy and comfortable. Docked one star though because the wood is much more cherry in person and it also came with a black knee pad instead of the brown shown on the listing, which would have gone much better with our bedroom.. Cirra. Janesville, WI. Tue Aug 04 2026

This Rococo-style wall niche echoes centuries of tradition! Cast directly from an English antique, this work of decorative art boasts fine detail, from its acanthus leaf finial to its classic columns. Crafted in quality designer resin, it is finished to be virtually indistinguishable from dark walnut.

Just gorgeous! It is rich and very much appears to be made of wood, despite it being some type of resin or other composite material (I believe). It is absolutely stunning and I plan to purchase another in the near future.. Melanie Vaughn. Missouri. Thu Aug 27 2026

This classic bench brings a refined style and historical touch to your living space. Crafted with solid poplar and an engineered wood frame, this bench features an upholstered seat cushion for a plush feel. This piece strikes a rounded silhouette with an oval benchtop, framed by a low curving back that features carved details and arrow slats. Turned and fluted legs give this piece an antique feel, while small floral details add to its appeal. We love that the distressed painting on the wood gives this piece an heirloom feel. At 37'' long, this works well in smaller spaces.

A light piece that fits perfect in my entryway for people to take off their shoes or set down their purse.. Sarah. Saint Louis, MO. Wed Dec 15 2021

The 5 stars are for the excellent customer service that Wayfair provides. The storage bench is not as well made as I would expect it to be (perhaps 3.5 to 4 stars) since it does look nice just material used is cheap. The first one I received had a broken leg, the top thin plastic cover that protects the cushion was ripped which left a small stain and the hinge was broken on the left side. I attached a picture of the leg. Upon contacting Wayfair customer service they promptly took care of it. The replacement I received is in perfect shape. My recommendation to the manufacturer would be to put additional packaging around the legs to keep them from breaking and to use a stronger plastic wrap to protect the top cushion. What is currently used seems to be saran wrap.. Teresa. Belmont, MA. Sat Jul 02 2016

Love the bench. Had to do a little staining on it, but other than that love it! Seller did give me a discount due to the areas that needed to be satined and were missed before shipping. Appreciated the little discount as well. Looks perfect. I have been looking for a bench for my home for over a year. This one is perfect.. Janice. Texas. Sat Aug 15 2026
