It looks as pictured and the woodwork is fine. HOWEVER THE TOXIC FUMES WERE UNBELIEVABLE. We aired it out to no avail. We removed the inside fabric and scrubbed down the inside, but the adhesive that was used had penetrated the entire inside wood. Its fumes were so strong that they had even penetrated the outer bottom wood of the box. There should absolutely be a warning in the description! We used bamboo charcoal deodorizers packs on the inside, too, and the fumes ruined them. Ultimately we had to THROW THE BOX OUT. Approx. $100 gone. The irony is that the interior fabric was extremely cheap looking while the exterior woodwork was very good. Will never buy from this company again. Zero stars.. Anonymous. Goodyear, AZ. The beautiful whitewashed box can be displayed lying flat or on a side. The gorgeous hand-carved a design in the mango wood makes it a decoration piece that can have items hidden inside. Stand one up vertically and the other horizontally next to it for a decorative accent.

Absolutely gorgeous set of hand carved boxes. I would give it Five Stars but my only issue is the larger box got pretty banged up during shipping and the frame separated a little bit which prevents the box too from closing correctly. This product is made from Acacia Wood from Thailand, a non-endangered species that is not harvested from rainforests. In fact, we plant a tree for every tree we use. **Use & Care** After use, wash this product in warm soapy water and wipe excess water off with a dry towel. Never soak or leave water on the wood during drying as it may result in warping over time. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher. Rejuvenate and protect your board by rubbing it down with Butcher Block Oil after each use. When the board is dry, apply the oil liberally and allow it to soak in thoroughly before use. Regular application of our Butcher Block Oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood. From time to time, the surface may become "bumpy". This is completely natural as we leave all of our wood in its natural state with no varnishes or lacquers. You can simply use high grit sandpaper to smooth it out and oil it again to bring it back to the new!
