Kitchen Island with Storage: Spacious countertop for easy meal prep; bottom two-tier open shelves keep cookware, utensils and daily essentials handy.

It’s a very nice kitchen island, especially considering that it’s made of plywood. I will say that it sits a little higher than my countertops than I expected, even though I measured beforehand. I believe the extra height may be intentional to accommodate stool seating. Overall, though, I’m very happy with it! I’m currently upgrading my kitchen and redoing my cabinets, so I needed to find ways to cut costs without sacrificing the look I wanted. This island was a great solution. It looks beautiful in my kitchen, provides plenty of extra workspace, and has become the perfect gathering spot for my guests while I’m cooking.. Katherine. Wauwatosa, WI. Mon Sep 28 2026

Great buy for the price! This piece was delivered quickly in 2 heavy boxes. Yes, 2 adults are needed to move and assemble. First impression efficiently and safely packaged. I could see right away that I liked the colorwood grain pattern of the product, and the (many) pieces looked well-made with smooth edges. Tons of hardware included. Next, we used the team approach to confirm all pieces where included—one called out part number, the other checked it off on the instructions. Speaking of instructions these are very well done. Typically, I see a self-assemble product like this and I’m CERTAIN I won’t be able to do this. With this product, the instruction booklet is long, detailed and made up primarily of pictures showing how each section is put together. The steps are over-explained through these drawings, making it very clear how each step goes together. These were some of the clearest instructions I’ve ever worked with! The wood pieces went together smoothly. Using the diagram instructions to ensure we had everything oriented properly (are all the holes matching the diagram, etc.) worked really well. The insane number of hardware pieces led to an incredibly sturdy construction. Everything went together exactly as described in the instruction booklet. All pre-drilled holes lined up, we even had extra screws and other hardware in case of a misplaced or broken piece. This took 2 adults 3 full hours to assemble. One of us is extremely mechanically inclined, the other is good at organizing and checking off vompleted strps. The final product is sturdy and good looking. For the price, the engineered wood is nicely priced. I’m happy with this island!. Teressa. MI. Sun Oct 11 2026

It’s great for my tiny kitchen, I needed more counter space. It is particle board, and the top is covered in laminate, not wood. For what it is, it’s great. Def a little cheaply made but so is everything these days.. Kayleen. Saint Petersburg, FL. Sun Sep 27 2026

Made of solid pine wood from renewable resources.

After years of deciding what would fit and look right in my kitchen, I finally found this. Order furniture online is always scary because I can't put my hands on it, so I was delighted when this arrived. It's solid wood, very sturdy, and gorgeous. Exactly the farmhouse work table look I was going for. As other reviews have said, the top is two pieces; for me, this is not a con because most antique tables are made that way. Yes, there are knots in the wood on top; it's not a smooth butcher block. Depending on how you'll be using it, that shouldn't be an issue. However, if I decide I want that, I can always take the top off and replace with a solid slab of butcher block and still be at a price lower than it would've taken me to buy everything and built this. All in all a good purchase, highly recommend.. Jlee. Thu Oct 08 2026

I think the wood is airbrushed It looks nice, is real wood, and when assembled is SOLID. The top unfortunately isn’t stone, ifs plastic, I’ll need to buy a countertop wrap for it. Assembly was a pain but worth it. The drawers don’t come all the way out. I’ll need to fix the drawers with other hardware, they only come half way out, and I’ll need to buy more wood to build a pan storage like I saw on another review. This thing is great! We wanted a coffee bar, but something that was solid wood, not MDF.. Anonymous. Sun Jul 12 2026

Overall pretty simple to put together…. Took me about 1.5 hours, but I put the towel bar and wheels on after the legs since my kitchen is tight on space and wasn’t sure they would work. Smaller hands make assembly a bit easier since some of the connections are in not easily assessable areas. The long and medium bolts are the same length! The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me. Also there were a couple of small nicks (minor) on the black wood, but decided to keep it since it’s a hassle to return. Overall pretty happy with the cart.. Lorette. Arvada, CO. Sat May 16 2026
