Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. I’d been eyeing this headboard for awhile but it seemed to sell out quickly. So after shopping at local furniture stores & seeing those $$$ prices, I nabbed this one as soon as I was notified it was back in stock! I was a bit nervous about what it would look like/quality for the price but I was happily satisfied with it. The only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars is that the small separations between the boards aren’t stained like the rest of the headboard is, so it’s noticeable ( but I have a discerning eye) at first and figured I’d have to get a brown paint marker to cover it, but actually it’s not noticeable from a distance and I haven’t seen anything while in the bed- so maybe it’s just the angle and I’m leaving it as is. Otherwise overall I’m very happy with it, it makes a statement in the room and gives my room a solid grounded base that I was wanting. The headboard is not as big as the picture presents. The headboard pretty much disappears once the mattress is on the bed.
