This bench was exactly what I was looking for. The color was as shown in the pictures. It is a beautiful, deep mahogany with no scratches, cracks or other issues. It is a good size for my entryway — not too big as to overpower the hall but big enough for two to sit comfortably. Very sturdy. I put it together on my own in less than two hours. This is a fine piece. Hardy, pretty it’s storage space is useful. The only thing I don’t really like is the height. We needed a small and simple bench for entry hallway. Most are much bigger so this works. Made of solid wood and looks nice, but rather plan. Only complaint is with the assembly technique of screwing in the bottom shelf with angular pre drilled holes, the shelf does not quite have a snug fit.
