Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. It can be used on its own or attached to cover a chain link fence for added beauty and privacy. They are inexpensive and easy to install. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. The bamboo slats we use are about 1/2" wide. They are packed in a roll for convenience in shipping and setting up. Due to the natural material used, the color will vary and may not look exactly like the photos shown. These fences are not solid, and you WILL be able to see through them.

I’m enamored with this natural reed fencing. Initially, I intended to install expensive shades, but I opted for these instead. They’re incredibly cost-effective. Whenever they begin to deteriorate, I’ll relocate them to the pollinator gardens during the colder months. This way, the bugs can safely hibernate and lay eggs within them. Meanwhile, my cats can enjoy the shade on their patio. I plan on doing this anytime I need to block the scorching sun.. Nancy. Chapin, SC. Thu Jul 30 2026

This fencing consists of thick bamboo shoots connected with thin metal rods. The 6 by 8 fencing weighs over 80 pounds so it was somewhat difficult to handle. It does not come with any way to attach it to posts or support. My goal was to zip tie the fencing to metal posts along my property line so that I could cover the view of the side of my neighbor’s garage. I hoped to add a decorative touch to my garden area. Getting the fencing unboxed and set up required two people because of the weight. It is well made but it didn’t really solve my particular problem. I’m unsure how I’ll use the fencing now. It’s too heavy to move around easily. I’m also concerned it won’t hold up well to Chicago winter weather. Be prepared to figure out a way to support the fencing. For what it is, it’s well made.. Cheryl. Chicago, IL. Mon Feb 16 2026

I used this fence panel in combination with the 20x20 Kingsport Carport as a sun blocker. My cars sat in the southeastern sun all day long. The carport solved the overhead sun issue. Installing the privacy wall on the back side solved the late afternoon lower sun issue. Because my driveway isn’t level, both the pergola and the wall required leveling by my contractor. For the wall he cut a few inches off one of the metal side posts before setting in the anchoring hardware. The wall is solid and just as good looking as the pergola!. Thirstyk. Charlotte Nc.
