The bench is beautiful, and the colour is just like the photo. However, when people sit on the bench especially the middle, it sinks quite a bit and looks very weak. We will have to buy a piece of wood or something to put in the middle to help this which is discouraging considering the price we paid. We feel returning this bench and replacing it with something different is more effort than adding a piece of wood but if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have gotten this bench knowing what I know now.. Beautiful bench! It fits right into my corridor. The bench is a little smaller than I expected but it’s a great addition to my home. The color looks like the picture and only took about 30 mins to build. Very sturdy! Had three adults sit on it for a weight check and didn’t seem to bend or feel like any of made slightly damage. Found something that was functional in our landing turned mud space. Fits really only 6pair of kid shoes per side and 4pair per grown up the chair helps for sitting space with a hanging area behind it.
